Bimini Art Glass
Bimini art glass of fantasy shaped hand blown vases and figurines. From 1923 Fritz Lampl and his brother-in-law, Joseph Berger, worked together to create beautiful glass art pieces. Joseph being the designer and Fritz being the glass-blower. They created fantastic glass animals, vases and figures.
Frizt then took the place as a designer and other artists were brought in same style of design. Lampl got the name 'Bimini' from a poem by Heinrich Heine that was about fictional island called Bimini. They created a flowerpot logo for the designs and Bimini art glass workshop was set up in 1923.
